Team size: 4 direct reports, mix of warehouse and customer service positions
Travel: Spokane focused, probably plan on being onsite at the showroom/warehouse 3 days a week and offsite at customer locations or meetings (ultimately schedule is up to you).

Job Summary: The Regional Manager is responsible for overall branch operations and profitability including: sales, sales growth, budgeting, gross margins, operating expenses, customer service, and any resolution of personnel issues within the regional team. This role is also responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing relationships with current and potential clients, directly supporting the Territory Sales Representative and Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse Specialists.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Promote a high level of customer service standard to regional team.
- Manage industry segments and assigned accounts.
- Develop regional-level sales plans and forecasts.
- Ensure effective control of sales results to be certain that the achievement of sales objectives is within the designated budget.
- Recruit, develop, and retain regional staff to achieve regional sales and volume goals.
- Train and educate clients and employees on products, services, and application solutions.
- Conduct sales calls to create, develop, and maintain referral relationships with builders, architects, masons, general contractors, and consumers.
- Create productivity goals for regional sales team.
- Communicate effectively with showroom sales team: this includes regularly scheduled sales meetings, as well as individual salesperson meetings to review product management and sales performance.
- Maintain sales levels and expanding business with key clients: this includes identifying opportunities, defining strategies, and executing plans in order to achieve these defined goals.
- Serve as primary regional liaison for partnerships between sales and operations.
- Answer client questions and resolve client issues as they arise.
- Actively manage client expectations regarding products and services.
- Document client input, client contact, and client visit information.
- Maintain pricing catalogues and accurately communicate any process changes, discontinuations, and new product updates to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Follow standard operating procedures for creating delivery tickets and purchase orders.
- Resolve any purchase order or inventory issues with the accounting and warehouse departments in a timely manner.
- Assist in analyzing the market to determine client needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and support the development of sales campaigns to accommodate goals of The Masonry Center.
- Prepare/review periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales growth.
- Coordinate all paperwork and documentation to meet accounting needs in a timely organized manner.
- Manage regional location safety plans.
- Manage vehicle and equipment schedules to ensure safety and compliance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and required.

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or two to five years of related experience in comparable role. Experience and/or knowledge relative to wholesale distribution and B2B models.
